Heimtextil, Techtextil and Texprocess strongly positioned for the future with a new management team
The coming editions of the textile trade fairs Heimtextil, Techtextil and Texprocess of Messe Frankfurt will be held under new management. From 15 September 2022, Bettina Bär assumes responsibility for the Home Textiles segment of Heimtextil. Her partner in the joint leadership of the international trade fair for home and contract textiles is Meike Kern, who remains in charge of the Household Textiles segment. Bettina Bär follows Sabine Scharrer, who will take over as Show Director of the leading international trade fairs, Techtextil and Texprocess, including the associated brand management. She will succeed Michael Jänecke, who retires with effect from 1 January 2023.
Techtextil and Texprocess 2022 set benchmarks for future-oriented textile trade fairs
From 21 to 24 June 2022, the leading international trade fairs Techtextil and Texprocess focused on sustainability and innovations and provided the international audience with an optimum setting on seven hall levels for exchanging information and establishing and strengthening business relationships. Quality meets quantity: this motto was fulfilled once again this year. 94 percent of all visitors and 87 percent of all exhibitors expressed themselves as very satisfied to satisfied with their participation in the trade show. These very good results are in line with those of the previous events in 2019.
Global textile business back in Frankfurt: Techtextil, Texprocess and Heimtextil Summer Special close with strong international presence and high visitor satisfaction
With a total of 117 participating nations, around 63,000 visitors and 2300 exhibitors, a brilliant re-launch of the international textile fairs at the Frankfurt exhibition center was achieved. Across all three events - Techtextil, Texprocess and the one-time Heimtextil Summer Special - Italy, France, Turkey, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Pakistan and the USA formed the top visitor nations. On all three business platforms, in addition to brisk order activity and high visitor quality and satisfaction, the concentrated positive energy of personal global encounters was particularly noticeable.

These and other questions formed the central themes of the panel discussion at the opening press conference on the first day of Techtextil, Texprocess and the one-time Heimtextil Summer Special.
Automotive, Medicine & Apparel: Techtextil and Texprocess Innovation Awards transmit textile innovations and buying motivation to numerous branches of the industry
After a Corona-related break of three years, the leading trade fairs Techtextil and Texprocess are once again presenting the renowned Innovation Awards. The award-winning new developments from areas such as New Products, Sustainability and Automation demonstrate: Textile innovations and technologies provide impulses for many branches of the industry and promise market and sales success far beyond their own sector. 13 winners from seven categories will be honored at a public awards ceremony at Techtextil and Texprocess on 21 June, 2022.
