Nonwoven Laminates
Description
Core Technology
Our medical-grade nonwoven laminates are engineered multilayer composites, designed to synergistically combine the strengths of distinct substrates. They are constructed by permanently bonding a functional film (such as a monolithic PE or breathable membrane) to a chosen nonwoven facing layer using advanced hotmelt lamination. This precise bonding creates a strong union without compromising the fabric's drape, softness, or breathability. The facing material defines key characteristics: Viscose for superior softness and absorbency; Polypropylene (PP) for fluid repellency and strength; SMS for an optimal balance of barrier and breathability. The result is a material where each layer performs a dedicated function—creating a fabric more capable than the sum of its parts.
Key Performance & Advantages
1.Reliable Fluid & Microbial Barrier: The integrated film layer provides a critical, continuous barrier against fluids and bacteria, essential for maintaining a sterile field in surgical settings and protecting healthcare workers.
2.Breathable Comfort: Our breathable composites allow moisture vapor to escape while blocking liquids, preventing heat buildup and enhancing wearer comfort during long procedures.
3.Enhanced Strength & Durability: Lamination reinforces the structure, providing high tensile and tear resistance in both dry and wet states to ensure integrity during dynamic use.
4.Soft, Low-Lint Surface: The nonwoven facing (especially Viscose) offers a skin-friendly, cloth-like contact surface that minimizes irritation and lint generation in clean environments.
5.Customizable Platform: We tailor the composite to your needs:
Structure: Choice of facing (Viscose, PP, SMS) and film (solid PE film, breathable film).
Specifications: Basis Weight (40 - 150 gsm), Width (80 - 240 cm).
Appearance: Available in medical blue, green, white, and other colors.
Primary Applications
These composites are the material of choice for single-use medical textiles requiring a guaranteed barrier:
Surgical Consumables: Disposable surgical drapes, gowns, operating table sheets and bed sheets.
Industrial & Hygiene: Cleanroom apparel and industrial protective wear.
Compliance & Partnership
Our laminates are produced under controlled processes designed to meet stringent medical barrier standards (e.g., EN 13795). We focus on material efficiency and supply chain reliability. As your solutions partner, we provide certified performance materials and technical expertise to help you develop products that are safe, reliable, and comfortable, meeting your specific performance and sustainability targets.
