muriel ®-ray is an elastic yarn that shows no mechanical changes after weathering and UV exposure. In fact, differently than common polymeric materials, silicone is not subjected to ageing phenomenon. muriel ®-ts: is thermal stable (in the range T= -40 °C ÷ +350 °C) and flame resistant

The nature of the yarn makes it stable over a temperature range between -40 °C to 350 °C, with no elasticity loss. Moreover, when in contact with fire, it releases non-corrosive combustion gasses and, more important, it doesn’t drop but forms a non-toxic ash avoiding skin burns.

Using muriel ®-ts, and covering it with fire proof yarns, it is possible to create a completely new fire proof elastic textile, characterized by lightness, softness, flexibility and high comfort.
