Utexbel has three spinning mills and makes a lot of different flame retardant fabrics, especially for protective clothing. 

We use (often in blends): aramids (meta and para), Protal and Lenzing FR.

Since almost 20 years we have inherently flame-retardant high-vis (orange, red and yellow) fabrics. We also have a range of treated flame-retardant fabrics, where we are proud of our Tencel-containing fabrics, for example in a blend with cotton and polyamide.

HEPTA: fabric containing 7 fibers, and being flame-retardant and high vis. This fabric can also be used by welders and gives a high protection against an electric arc.

LAVApro: majority Lenzing FR + para-aramid. Excellent for welders and protection against molten iron. Can be washed industrially.  

Kermel Alpha and Kermel LCI: Affordable Aramid-blends,  Can be washed industrially.   Kermel GMT 10, Kermel KTS and Kermel HTA: solutions for firefighter intervention suits.  

Treated cotton/PES, cotton/tencel/PES, cotton/PA, cotton/tencel/PA.
