Outlast® Temperature Regulation
Description
Outlast® Temperature Regulation was originally developed for NASA to protect astronauts from extreme temperature fluctuations in space.
The technology uses natural wax based on rapeseed oil that can absorb, store, and release heat as needed. This creates active temperature and moisture management, ensuring a balanced microclimate and noticeably improved comfort.

Materials featuring Outlast® Temperature Regulation act as a thermal buffer, actively balancing temperature fluctuations. Heat peaks are significantly reduced—resulting in a clearly enhanced comfort level and up to 48% less perspiration*.
*Tests for various end applications such as apparel, footwear, and helmets conducted by C. Russ – INSIDE CLIMATE, an independent testing laboratory in Munich (THG AreaView – SleepView).
