About us
Liebaert is a family owned company founded in 1887 and located in Belgium. We are specialised in elastic warp and circular knits and woven and knitted elastic narrows. Today, we are renown throughout the textile industry for our ability to develop and manufacture bespoke products for multiple industries such as the lingerie, sport’s, automotive and medical industry.
In our aim for premium quality and tailor-made solutions, we’ve evolved into a one-stop shop for fabric engineering and fabric design. All our services are integrated from yarn to finished textiles including: Dyeing, siliconizing, Printing and Garment Making. Furthermore, our diverse machinery park allows us to produce a variety of fabrics such as power nets, spacer and tricot fabrics.

Elastic tape with 2 different type of conductive yarns. Can be used for heating applications and/or data transfer.

Water repellent fabric
Protect your fabrics from water, grease and powder stains with this newest development in fluid-repellent fabrics. Our C6 finish chemically binds with the fibres, providing a natural and very durable coating which makes any sort of fluid bead and thus easy to rinse of.

Fire retardant elastic fabric
Our fire retardant technology uses the principles of carbonisation to slow down the combustion process, thus creating fabrics built to better withstand fire hazards. This flame-retarding finish ensures that our farbics burn more slowly or not at all and reduces the proliferation of noxious fumes. By carbonising the material itself if it were to ignite, the flames lose their power supply and the fire is extinguished. Our technology is Far/Jar and FMVSS compliant, making our fabrics compatible for automotive and aviation purposes.
