Description

The knitted fabric of meta-aramid was developed as an inner layer for a fire-resistant glove.
It is used where extreme conditions prevail and your users need the greatest possible protection from heat and fire.

As a finished work glove, it is used by employees in foundries, blast furnaces, etc.

We are able to manufacture heat and fire resistant textiles from a wide variety of materials (e.g. meta-aramid, para-aramid, glass, basalt, etc.) and with a wide variety of textile technologies (e.g. weaving, knitting).

SilverSan

SillverSan® - OxyCat®

OxyCat®- catalysts are used to keep water fresh and for water treatment. What they all have in common is the surface modified according to the patented SilverSan® process with unique catalytic activity in aqueous media even at low temperatures. Due to its high redox potential, it has a repellent effect on microorganisms. This repellent effect explains the high protective effect against biofilm

The core piece is the silver wire coated with OxyCat®. It is a wire with > 99% Ag and a diameter of 0.1mm.

The core application is to keep household appliances, drinking water dispensers, bottles, canisters, air filtration etc. fresh. The point of use is any direct contact with treated water.

If the manufacturer`s cleaning instructions are followed, the product remains usable for up to six months.

SilverSan® - OxyCat® technology can be integrated into the following textile constructions: Braid with one silver thread (see picture), upgradeable to a maximum of 8 silver threads.

Knitted fabric, cord (typical applications “wrapping”/”in-tube”), knitted fabric, woven fabric

Multiaxial

Open Reed Weave (ORW) technology

ORW technology makes it possible to feed additional threads into the weaving process using special thread guides. These yarn guides can be moved horizontally on a profile via linear drives in a pattern-controlled manner. The additional pattern threads create a weft effect on the fabric surface that can be freely controlled. The ORW technique is therefore especially suitable for the production of multi-axial fabrics for technical textiles. The arrangement of two independently driven axes for the additional pattern threads makes it possible to weave additional threads into a basic fabric in any diagonal direction as 3rd and 4th thread systems. In this way, the position of the diagonal threads is adapted to the direction of the forces acting on them. In addition to the possibility of weaving additional thread systems into a basic fabric across the entire fabric width, ORW technology is also excellently suited for doing this only partially, in order to integrate required reinforcements at certain points of the fabric.

Technology: - two additional thread systems that can be shifted across the weave width

- shifting of the multiaxial threads via laying needles (max. 30cm)

- binding of the multiaxial threads by lowering the needles

- lowering is made possible by open reed gaps

This technology has great potential, as locally reinforced fabrics can be produced in one step, waste is reduced, the number of process steps is reduced and quality assurance is improved. Reinforcements can also be made more flexible. It offers new areas of application such as perforation, notch effect, punctual force transmission or for load belts.
