For more than 50 years Eltex of Sweden has been the leading manufacturer of weft break sensors for the weaving industry. During this time, we have also been a trusted provider of sensors for the warping & winding industry and in recent years even the tufting industry. Innovation, experience and know-how has enabled us to perfect the function and reliability of our sensors. Having our own R&D in Sweden and manufacturing in Ireland also gives us the necessary control of product quality and flexibility in terms of production and logistics. Our Products
ETM Solo
The Eltex ETM Solo is an on-line device designed for continuous monitoring of the yarn tension on textile machines. ETM Solo has Yarn motion signal output (Specific models). A separate Yarn Break Sensor is then not needed. The ETM Solo communicates via a digital bus system or an analog output. The yarn tension is measured as a force on the sensing element. The yarn angle across the element is predetermined by two ceramic guide bars. The necessary deviation is kept as small as possible. The yarn guides allow the yarn to enter and leave the unit at any angle. Fast sensor response enables monitoring of rapid changes in yarn tension. This allows it to be used, for instance, as a sensor for automatic control of yarn brakes.
Eltex EYE
EYE is a system for yarn break detection and statistics handling on textile machines. It is a flexible system that can be used on machines ranging from a few yarns to thousands.
The EYE system is rapidly learning the yarns in operation. The event logging function makes it possible to view the process statistics and pinpoint the weak spots in the process. All parameters are set on the operator terminal. System status and statistics are also displayed on the operator terminal.
The EYE system from Eltex is also capable of monitoring both the weft yarn and chopper yarns on a Multiaxial Warp Knitting Machine. It is designed to improve the efficiency and the quality and is essential to achieve a first quality product.

EyETM
Eltex EyETM greatly helps increase the quality of warp beams or yarn packages by monitoring all yarn tension in real time.
The result is fewer problems, not only when warping and winding, but also in the next step when
weaving or tufting.
The EyETM system monitors the yarn tension on all positions in real-time.
A minimum and maximum allowable tension value can be set. If any yarn’s tension is outside these values the operator can be warned or the machine can be stopped. The system can also be set to stop if a yarn’s tension value has exceeded the warning level for a pre-set amount of time.
