Comerio Ercole has been operating since 1885 in the manufacturing of machines and industrial plants. DUETTO
DUETTO® calender layouts are based on the possibility to maintain at process disposal two or three additional spare rolls having different pattern designs and/or surface finishing. Thanks to this unique arrangement it is possible to easily switch from one engraved roll to another one reducing the traditional set up times, since it is no more necessary to cool down, replace and warm up again the calender rolls. Just moving the DUETTO® revolver, the new roll is quickly ready to be used already warmed up. Possibility to let the calender threaded without rolls action (by pass) due to the revolver configuration.
AIRPIN
The AIRPIN® calenders are mainly designed and manufactured according to the highest requirements of the most advanced manufacturing of filter media.
The PIN-to-PIN configuration is based on very high precision mechanical components as well as the most advanced hydrotronic technology patented by COMERIO ERCOLE as HYDROGAP® micrometric hydraulic positioning system.
In addition AIRPIN® calenders are equipped with the special steel rolls based on ROLLBLOCK® innovative technology, which allows a very high precision on thermal profile.
PICKBREAKER
The PICKBREAKER® embossing calender is mainly designed and manufactured according to the highest requirements of the most advanced film and nonwoven manufacturing industry. Both calender rolls (the top one and the bottom one) are engraved with a special “deep” pattern, having multi-disk layout positioned in “male/female” phase. This in order to apply a CD deformation on the processed material, modifying tensile strength parameters together with an increasing of product width. The purpose is to “pick” and “break” the
web under proper control and according required technological parameters
GEOWIDTH
The GEOWIDTH® calenders are mainly designed and built according to the highest requirements of the needle-punched nonwovens field.
Wide rolls face, thickness control high precision, lowest T° deviation across the full width of the rolls, are the basic performances required today from the high-quality needle felts industry.
The GEOWIDTH® calenders, thanks to the most advanced technology for steel rolls manufacturing (ROLLBLOCK®) and the hydraulic positioning system (HYDROGAP®), are the status of the art in needle felt calenders.
GEOCAST
The GEOCAST® calenders are mainly designed and built according to the highest requirements of the geomembrane multi-extrusion coating field.
Monobloc strong rolls, thickness control high precision, lowest T° deviation across the full width of the rolls are the basic performances required today from the high quality geomembranes industry involved in the production of roofing and waterproofing synthetic membranes.
The multi-extrusion coating technology is able to provide with two extruders PVC or TPO film to be properly calendered with GEOCAST® at high pressure values and superior linear precision inserting a synthetic PET or glass fiber net in the package. The GEOCAST® calenders, thank to the most advanced technology for
steel roll manufacturing (ROLLBLOCK®) and the hydraulic positioning system HYDROGAP® and force control system HYDRONIP® are the status of the most available calendering technology.
