nopma extreme ceramics
With the novel of the abrasive DIN Norm EN388 the complete glove industry has had the problem of achieving the highest abrasion class of DIN EN 388 (LK4) with conventional technologies.
With the new nopma extreme ceramics coating technology we can combine textiles which are knitted or woven with a ceramic coating to protect this textiles with a maximum effect.
The task was to develop a production technology with which a highly filled ceramic system could be applied to textiles. After the application this coating has to be sintered on the textile to achieve its unique abrasion properties. Besides colours, different partial designs and patterns are possible.

Permanent shaping via the interaction of temperature and high pressure. Thermoplastic coatings and fibers obtain new effects in function and design. By compressing the materials, not only optical effects but also technical properties can be modified and novel products can be designed.

Nopma biodegradable is combining a technologically advanced textile coating with ecological sustainability. Applicated on pure natural products such as cotton or wool our coating results in an absolutely unique and 100% sunstainable material compound.
Already today we are able to offer out existing products with content of biopolymers instead of petrochemical products with content from 10-50% with full performance level.
