Captiqs Automotive delivers all kinds of needle punched liners as rolled goods for automotive exterior- and interior trim, according to the expectations of the customer and in accordance with the requirements of the OEM-sector.

Captiqs Automotive offers material in different aspects, fibre blends and constructions  for the following automotive applications

Filtration:

Geotextile needlepunched polyester or polypropylene. Permeable felt used with soil and other geo-synthetics for separation, filtration, reinforcement, protection, and drainage control.

Drainage:

Captiqs produces a large range of strong and flexible geotextiles made from polypropylene fibres.

Both good water-draining and good filtration of fine soil particles prevents clogging of chair pipes.

Captiqs’ “MULTI DRAIN”: 

The eco-friendly “MULTI DRAIN” range are Geotex non-wovens made out of recycled polypropylene fibres that can be applied for:
     • Agricultural drainage
     • Pathways
     • Small lakes & ponds
     • Green roofs

Roofing: Anticondensation felt for metal roofs

Important issues in metal roof construction:
     • Ventilation
     • Moisture management which is expressed in absorption
       and/or in drainage capacity.

When building with roof panels ventilated but insulated, thermal shock can mean moisture condenses. When the condensation is very high, water can fall and may damage stored produce.
The humidity issues can be solved with our anticondensation nonwoven felt.
This very thin insulation (from 90 gr/m² to 140 gr/m²) will avoid the risk of dripping.
This nonwoven felt will be applied to the steel sheet on the inner side.

Tile Underlays: Sound insulation

Our nonwoven products have been engineered to reduce impact noise from walking, the dragging of chairs or the dropping object.

Our felt isolates hard surface floors from the subfloor and is designed for: Corporate offices, Education, Hotel/resort residential (dry or wet rooms).

These products also comprise very high acoustic performances: 18 dB≤ ∆Lw ≤ 20 dB* (final result dependent on glue ).

High performing but also easy to handle & very light weight (whilst provided in rolls or tiles), our products do not significantly increase the floor level.

Wall covering felt:

Our wall backing non-woven range are engineered to be laminate with paper wall cover by powder or hotmelt coating. They are used for covering bands & cracks in wall and ceiling.

With non-woven backing felt the end product offers a lot of advantages:
     • Breathable
     • Cover deep cracks
     • Sound reduction (absorption is function of weight)
     • Avoids cold walls, reduces condensation

These products are polyester 100% so the felt is safe for the air quality inside home.

Secondary tuft backing:

Our non-woven tuft backing is the European market leading product in the segment of secondary tuft backings.

Our secondary backing adds additional comfort to a broadloom carpet in terms of acoustic and thermal insulation. Moreover it has a good adhesion to latex at a very low absorption level, whilst also increasing the comfort and speed of installation.
