Description

TAC Bioloop & Ciclo Inside was developed to reduce the persistence of fugitive synthetic microfibers, which is caused by textiles. Thanks to its special formulation, it creates countless biodegradable spots where microbes can form functional entities that biodegrade the material throughout the matrix of the PET yarn. The microorganisms degrade and digest the PET yarn with the help of these spots.

Biodegradable Solution To Complement Circularity

The yarn is produced by adding a sustainable additive to the PET chips during the melt spinning process that imparts biodegradable properties. This sustainable additive can be blended with recycled or virgin PET and can be dope dyed. Since the additive does not affect the mechanical properties of the yarn, the biodegradable PET yarns can be used in all applications where virgin and recycled PET yarns are used.

TAC FUNCTIONAL POLYESTER FILAMENT YARNS

TAC FLAME RETARDANT maintains permanent flame retardancy to the textiles in which they are used. In contrast to the textiles produced with standard polyester or any other type of yarn, flame retardant textiles show self-extinguishing behaviour, melt slowly and decrease the fume formation.

TAC UV RESISTANT is specially developed for outdoor textiles. In the fabrics exposed to the sunlight and heavy weather conditions, degradation occurs. Degradation results in color fading and loss of durability over time. TAC UV Resistant maintains long-time durability and resistance to color fading.

TAC ANTISTATIC shows perfect electrical conductivity and eliminates the static electrification problem in the fabric. It is used as a protector in many textile materials. For example, in the laboratories, gas stations, electronic industry, dye houses that are affected by static electrification.

TAC COTTON-LIKE is the polyester yarn resembling natural fibers with its high number of filaments, soft touch and high texture. TAC Cottonlike absorbs water quickly, has a better of air permeability than cotton. It is produced with an innovative technique that was developed by Korteks. Bursting strength of the fabric is twice as better than that of the fabric produced with cotton.

TAC MILPA-LIKE yarns can be woven into fabrics whose textures have a natural, wool-like feel. In addition to an ecru version suitable for disperse-dyeing, dope-dyeable blends and cationic composites are also available.

TAC LINEN-LIKE structure of LINEN-LIKE yarns imparts a linen-like feel to fabrics that are woven from linen.


TAC EASY DYED by using standard polyester yarn, medium shade and dark shade Easy Dye yarns together in the fabric, three different color levels can be achieved with a single dyeing process.

TAC CATIONIC The dyeing properties of polyester that has undergone cationic polymerization are superior to those of disperse-dyed normal polyester. Fabrics woven from cationically-dyed yarns are much more color-fast and this is especially important in the case of rich, dark colors.

TIGHT SPOT yarns give the fabrics into which they are woven a slightly raised-relief or sandy appearance owing to the regular surging effects imparted to them during manufacture.

TWO TONE is made from specially-made texturized POY. When fabrics woven from it are dyed, the result is a surface that is characterized by tonal graduations.

THICK&THIN is a textured yarn made from POY that is manufactured so as to have unique features that significantly alter its dyeability causing some parts of the yarn to hold onto more or less dye than others.

ITY yarns are manufactured from layers that have different shrinkability values. Fabrics made from these yarns can be given a peach-like look and feel through a special finishing process that does not required abrasion.
