Initially designed for the defense sector, this cable had to maintain constant elasticity in very contrasting environments, whether operating in cold climates or desert areas.

To achieve this goal, the company's teams modified the product's structure. The traditional latex core was replaced by synthetic rubber, while the cable was given a double protective braid to stabilize its performance and protect the inner core.

Although this technology was initially developed for defense applications, it is now finding outlets in other environments subject to extreme climatic variations.

By combining our expertise in braiding and overmolding, we have developed numerous multi-material overmolded automotive parts.

This part, for example, is composed of four different overmolded materials. The cord is made of latex and polyester and then overmolded with PA6,6 and EPDM.
