Acryterna
Description
Acryterna
Built for the Extremes
Acryterna represents Aksa’s advanced homopolymer acrylic technology, specifically engineered for complex technical applications such as hot gas filtration in power generation, cement, and limestone industries. Due to its unique chemical composition, superior and long-lasting mechanical and chemical resistance is ensured even at high temperatures.
Core Technical Advantages
· Thermal & Chemical Resistance: Designed to withstand extreme conditions, structural integrity is maintained under high heat while exceptional resistance to hydrolysis, acids, and alkalis is exhibited.
· Dimensional Stability: No dimensional changes are observed, a feature that significantly extends the service life of the final filter media.
· Mechanical Excellence: High modulus and outstanding strength values are provided, ensuring durability under pressure.
· Process Compatibility: Sustainable performance is achieved through full compliance with advanced industrial standards.
Specialized Product Range
Acryterna AT200: The use of homopolymer acrylic fiber with long-lasting mechanical resistance is ensured, specifically developed for hot gas filtration in energy, cement, and lime industries.
Acryterna AT203: A larger surface area is offered through its trilobal (three-lobed) cross-section; this structure enhances filtration performance while a more effective screening process is performed.
Acryterna AT300: A flock tow (short-cut fiber) solution is provided for reinforcing structures such as battery separators, concrete, mortar, and paint.
Key Applications
· Filtration Media: High-performance solutions are provided for hot gas filtration systems in power plants and industrial facilities.
· Reinforcement & Industrial Use:
· Use as a filler material in vehicle batteries is ensured due to high acid resistance.
· A sustainable asbestos alternative is preferred for brake linings and clutch facings.
· Crack formation in concrete and insulation applications is prevented while stability and homogeneity are increased.
· Increased strength is provided in the paper industry and the production of fast-drying, anti-crack paints for floor coatings.
