With over 3,600 members, the VDMA is the largest network organization and an important voice for the mechanical engineering industry in Germany and Europe. The association represents the common economic, technical and scientific interests of this unique and diverse industry.

VDMA Textile Machinery represents about 150 manufacturers of machinery, equipment, components, accessories and software for the production of textile materials - from spinning to the production of textile fabrics and finishing. They represent about 90 percent of the total industry volume. We are committed to increasing the competitiveness of our members and to securing the future viability of the textile machinery industry. The focus is on representing the economic and technical interests of the industry. We also offer our members a network for the exchange of experience and specialist services on various focal points.
