The TI organises a host of conferences, events, activities, training and short courses worldwide.

Its flagship event The Textile Institute World Conference TIWC is organised every 18-24 months at a diffierent host location. Most recently the conferences have taken place in China, Malaysia, Poland, Sri Lanka and the UK.

The TI runs a number of short course introductory programmes in both textiles and clothing. Various other activties and events take place internationally via the Institutes Sections worldwide which are based in key areas.
