Description

Fabric 25378, crafted from Dyneema and elastane, stands out for its versatile applications in speed skating, alpine skiing, and motorcycle apparel. This fabric sets new standards in abrasion resistance, cut protection, and lightweight construction, resulting in outstanding comfort and favoring users' performance.

With high abrasion resistance, this fabric is particularly suitable for demanding use in speed skating, where the strain on the ice is particularly intense. Simultaneously, it provides effective cut protection to ensure the safety of the wearers.

In the alpine skiing sector, Fabric 25378 excels with its excellent combination of protection and flexibility. The lightweight motorcycle apparel benefits from this thin fabric, elevating both comfort and safety to a new level.

The combination of Dyneema and elastane gives Fabric 25378 a lightweight feel, enhancing not only comfort during wear but also improving freedom of movement. This makes it an ideal choice for short track speed skating and the motorcycle market, where both protection and flexibility are crucial.

13034P-2 FR fleece

Together with our sister companies Concordia Textiles and Estambril Textiles International, we embrace an innovative approach that incorporates Purfi technology. The double-sided Nomex fleece, Article 13034P-2, is not only inherently flame-resistant but also possesses antistatic properties. Its versatile applications span across military, police, and industrial sectors, ensuring maximum protection.

As part of our sustainability efforts, we utilize recycled meta-aramid fibers, transforming them into a yarn through Purfi technology. The remarkable outcome is a yarn comprising both recycled and virgin fibers. Noteworthy is the nearly original fiber length, a departure from conventional recycling attempts with aramid fibers. This allows us to reduce resource consumption by 30% in newly produced fibers, without compromising the functionality and performance of the end product. Our tests reveal nearly identical results in the FR (flame-resistant) domain, with only slightly elevated values in peeling.

Our circular economy initiative encompasses both pre- and post-consumer waste. From the spinner to the knitter (Fuchshuber) to the garment manufacturer, we collect fiber, yarn, and cutting waste, providing them sorted and color-coordinated for Purfi. In the post-consumer market, we actively collaborate with partners to centrally collect items from end-users at the end of their lifecycle.

Our innovative approach aims to integrate materials beyond cotton and polyester into the circular economy. In doing so, we succeed in incorporating articles and clothing in the firefighting, military, and police sectors into a circular system, making a sustainable contribution to the industry.
