Certain applications require special finishs, coatings or surface treatments. BWF Protec has extensive possibilities to equip technical needle felts according to special requirements.

We offer the following treatments for technical needle felts (nonwovens) by the metre:

• full bath finish, e.g. flame retardant, antistatic, moth-resistant, oil and water repellent, rot-resistant, thermal or chemical stiffening
• full-surface one-sided coatings, foams, e.g. spark blockers, B1/B2, superabsorbers, anti-slip finish, adhesive coating, one-sided flame-retardant
• Surface treatments, e.g. singeing, calendering, pressing
• laminated with self-adhesive foil
• laminated with aluminized foil

We refine endless needled belts e.g. through:

• reinforcement of the back of the belt
• anti-slip coating
• anti-stick coating
• paint applications
