Sioen Weaving develops, weaves and markets woven fabrics made of monofilaments, multi-filaments, spun fibers or natural fibers. To meet our customer’s needs, we use high-quality raw materials such as High Tenacity Polyester yarns, other polyester yarns, polyamide, PLA, para-aramid, meta-aramid, polypropylene, polyethylene and many others.

Sioen, through its Direct Coating division, offers coated textiles for a wide range of applications such as side curtains, tents & halls, biogas membranes, tensile architecture, and much more. You can come to Sioen for both standard products and specialised, customised textiles. We coat polyester yarns and (hybrid) glass fabric with PVC, silicone or other products. Thanks to  vertical integration and great technical expertise, we regularly provide tailor-made, advanced coated solutions for our many customers. Sioen’s BRIO range of sustainable coated fabrics is helping to move the coating industry forward towards a greener future. BRIO-textiles are manufactured using high-quality recycled polyester yarn made out of recycled plastic bottles. The sustainable PVC coating contains fossil-free, bio-based resin and plasticizer. Customers can order all their PVC-coated textiles to be made as ‘BRIO’. BRIO fabrics have a green content of up to 90% and a carbon footprint reduction of up to 50%. Moreover, the BRIO label has been certified to be truly sustainable, as it has been submitted to stringent external auditing.

Sioen, through its divisions Tessilbrenta, Manifattura Fontana & Sioen Technical Felts, offers solutions at a global level for a wide range of non-wovens, geotextiles and sand containers for civil and environmental engineering applications, roofing systems, bedding and sofas sectors. Customers can rely on more than 50 years of expertise in manufacturing non-woven textiles from synthetic fibers. This know-how on raw materials allows us to offer a wide range of certified products, able to best suit the technical specifications requested.

Sioen, through its division Veranneman Technical Textiels, offers a large collection of woven and laid scrims. In our product portfolio, you can find a wide variety of colours and widths. Our catalogue is organised according to applications, so customers can easily determine which material best suits their needs. You can rely on us for your glass and polyester laid scrim, and woven scrims for: waterproof reinforcement, filtration, construction, heavy duty, wind shields, pool covers, bird nets, safety nets, industrial fencing, stable construction and sunscreens.
