The new N.SIR123SP is capable of producing unique designs in knit fabrics, especially inlay patterns, which combine knit and weave characteristics to produce hybrid textiles. In addition, the i-Plating option can be combined with inlay patterns as well as sinker patterns produced with the patented spring-type moveable sinker system, opening up a whole new world of patterning for truly diverse knit design. Meanwhile a lighter, more compact carriage yields higher productivity. N.SIR123SP carries over established SHIMA SEIKI technology such as the R2CARRIAGE System, Digital Stitch Control System (DSCS), stitch presser, takedown comb and yarn gripper and cutter system. An all-new full-color LCD touch-screen control panel greatly improves on the previous monochromatic display as well. The new SWG-N2 series features the proven R2CARRIAGE system for higher productivity. A larger number of yarn carriers and holding hooks for yarn cutting, as well as a separate yarn holder with increased capacity allows for even more flexibility in multi-color knitting.
