Senbis Polymer Innovations is the continuation of the R&D department of Akzo Nobel that provides different services e.g. pilot plant trials (polycondensation, solid state polymerization, compounding, monofilament extrusion, and multifilament yarn melt-spinning), laboratory testing, and consultancy to the customers around the world. Furthermore, Senbis is running several European and National projects with the direction toward sustainable products (biodegradable alternatives to conventional polymeric products) within its sister company, Senbis Sustainable Products. Solving polymer challenges and tackling microplastic issues is the core ambition of Senbis.
