Salvadè S.r.l.
About us
Salvadè was founded in 1967 by Alberto and Luigi, two brothers, as a maintenance company for textile machines of any kind and make, from stenters to printing machines, from steamers to dryers, becoming more of a manufacturing company.
It acquired vast maintenance experience and, disposing of a wide range of machinery for printing and textile finishing, today Salvadè is one of the most important companies in this industry at global level.
The company is aware that research, update, development and innovation change production constantly. The continuous monitoring of technological innovation and customers’ needs represents therefore a critical step towards the near future goals of Salvadè, such as a wider production range and the constant improvement of products. In fact, new solutions are means of improvement of the customer’s work cycles, in terms of space and time. Lately projects are designed in 3D for a better reading of the drawing and a more appealing presentation to the customer.
Salvadè is aware that an efficient post-sales service is as important as design, therefore it takes great care of customer assistance using property vehicles to deliver machinery and emergency service at the customer’s site.
The qualified technicians are also able to assist the machines’ startup and to meet the needs through a global consulting service.

Tumbler Dryer
Mach 5: ……. a tumbler/dryer or a dryer/tumbler? “simply” a Mach5.
2005 Salvadè launches is first continuous Tumbler/ Dryer model Mach5, now a machine optimised in every single detail and ready for all challenges The Tumbler in typically associated to woven fabrics. Mach5 showed immediately a great affinity for all knits because able to conjugate what was considered impossible: Enviable hand feel effects Fabric shrinkage and dimensional stability competitive with the famous conveyor belt tensionless dryers. Extreme drying efficiency, an expertise the company developed since 1967. Very effective fabric cleaning (ideal also for the preparation of the ready for digital printing fabrics). Definitely the lowest running costs in the market (see the technical table).
One machine, 4 effects: How was it possible to conjugate these four aspects before March5 were incompatible one each other?
1 Hand feel effects
2 Powerful drying at low running costs
3 Shrinkage and dimensional stability
4 Fabric cleaning
AMV and AMO dryers
Beginning of the 90ties, an always more demanding market requires to the dryer three indispensable characteristics:
- continuous drying
- low residual shrinkage level and therefore dimensional stability
- low running costs
Here is AMV. HIGH SHRINKING AND SUPER-EFFICIENT CONTINUOUSLY DRYING
To reach the target
- constant fabric overfeeding in relationship with the fabric characteristics.
- powerful helico-centrifugal ventilator + Patented system with shifted/rotating blowers to increase the vibrating/percussing action
- enormous air flowrate at low pressure
- “Wave shape” fabric progress > “zero tension” movement
- fast expulsion of water from the fabric by means of the mechanical action
- drying at low temperature, (max 150°C), and thus a huge saving.
excellent shrinkage values and therefore a very good final dimensional stability a good fibre swelling. The fabric here treated get out soft and nice to touch
up to 100 mm of selvedge unrolling
Machine Modularity:
- From 1 to 6 sections
- From 1 to 3 passages

Calendering
COMBI K13, the multifunction felt calender.
The sublimation printing on synthetic fabrics with transfer paper is a very simple technique, without the use of chemical products, with reduced investments, with the advantage of not requiring specific fabrics preparation and not requiring traditional post-printing treatments, such as steaming, washing and drying.
The process consists in the hot passage (200° C. for about 30 sec.) of fabric and transfer paper between the felt and the hot cylinder of our "Combi" calenders, the disperse sublimation dyes, which form the design on the paper, by the effect of the temperature are transformed into gas which is permanently fixed to the synthetic fibers of the fabric without additional treatments.
The felt calender is the perfect machine for this process due to its characteristic of having a long contact time between felt and cylinder which allows to develop a good production speed even with long permanence times.
The combination of temperature and pressure, with the easy availability of thermo-fusible materials, makes it possible with this machine to laminate two or more fabrics together with the simple passage in the calender of the various materials with excellent results in terms of adhesion, high speed and extreme ease of exercise.
With the "K13" version, an evolution of the previous "K1" and "K3", the "Combi" calenders now have the advantage of exerting a strong pressure (14,500 kg per 70 kg/lcm) obtained from the pressure cylinder, and of permanence in temperature between felt and cylinder which makes it possible to apply metallic and fancy foils on fabrics of any fiber, with excellent production speed and ease of use.
By exploiting the combination of the long contact time of the felt and the strong pressure of the "K13" cylinder, we have achieved the excellent result of transfer printing, coupling two or more fabrics and metallising fabrics at high speed, with high quality and soft hand, with reduced consumption, space and investments and all with a single machine, the “Combi K13”.
Our production program includes calenders with different diameters and different working widths to satisfy any production need of our customers.

Continuos steaming machine
Salvadè continuous steamer is the solution for a perfect continuous steaming operation.
What the market requires from a continuous steamer?
Total absence of colour replications on both fabric faces
Even and constant colour fixation over the whole fabric lot length and from selvedge to selvedge
Maximum colour brilliancy and fastness levels
VPM is the ideal solution. Product of a constant and restless technical investigation together with the transferring of the precious indications coming from our numerous customers, this machine represents the state of the art of the steaming process after the printing of whatever kind of fabric made of whatever sort of fibre and blends.
