Temperature transmitters – hot signals from multizone heated godet rolls  

The temperature modules to transmit a rotating temperature signal to a stationary receiver component. Temperature transmitters are mainly applied for multizone heated godet rolls. They are proved to run in a harsh EMC environment. These transmitters work by contact-less induction data transmission. Aging, pollution and high outside temperatures don’t influence the precision of the temperature measurement.

CHARACTERISTICS

• 1 temperature transmitter for 1 to 6 individual heating zones (up to 6 x PT100 inputs)
• Completely sealed, no connections in the hot part of the roll

High Temperature Godet Rolls – for high performance fibres

Some unique yarn characteristics are made possible by impressive temperatures. High-performance fibres require temperature of extremely high level based on the fact that fibres like para-aramids have high glass transition temperatures nearing 370 °C.

Retech high temperature godet rolls have a heating power up to 400 °C.

Heated godet rolls – for perfectly hot synthetic fibres

Retech godet rolls are available in various dimensions covering a wide range of customer-specific application requirements. They come as a complete assembly including Energy Saving Motor as well as with temperature and motor speed controls or as individual and specially designed components.

Retech godet rolls fit in all kinds of production environments and process requirements, also in harsh ones such as high temperatures, huge stretching forces, wet and acids or very high speeds.

Yarn tension sensors – clever signals for success

The measuring principle of the yarn tension sensor is based on the proven Hall technology. Here, through the measurement of magnetic field intensity, a signal that is proportional to the yarn tension is converted into voltage. Measuring accuracy over many years proves the reliability of this measuring principle. Practice proven is also the compact and stable structural design of the sensor.

The sensor is available in 3 main tension ranges:

• Low tension range: PA applications (0-60 cN)
• Standard range: PET applications (0-120 cN)
• High tension range: heavy counts and bulked continuous filament (BCF) applications (0-240 cN).
