Manufacture Expedit, the leading French manufacturer of metal fastening systems
Initially specialized the production of buttons since 1936, we chose to diversify our activity in the early 1990s by acquiring the snap-fasteners and eyelets division of La Dauphinoise located in Grenoble.
Today, Expedit is the market leader in France and is present in more than 40 countries. We specialize in the production and sale of fastening systems, with a particular focus on eyelets, grommets with teeth washers, turn buttons and rivets.
Our manufacturing site south of Paris includes all the stages of production of our items : cutting, stamping, machining, assembling, surface treatment, plastic injection, design and production of tools and machines.
This allows us to respond to your needs in a reactive manner thanks to a team working hand in hand every day.
It is no accident that we are present in sectors as varied as tarpaulin covering, bodywork, automobile industry, signage, advertising, events, textile structures, sun protection, clothing, leather goods, saddlery and decoration.

Eyelets and grommets
Manufacture Expedit is specialized in the production of eyelets and grommets.

Round eyelets are available with an inner diameter from 5 mm to 66 mm.
Our eyelets and grommets are made of brass, galvanized steel, aluzink, or 316 stainless steel. All our brass eyelets are available in polished brass, nickel plated brass, and dark bronze plated brass.
In addition, we offer a wide range of eyelets for curtains (diameters 25 mm, 30 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm et 66 mm) available in the following colors :

Rolled rim grommets with spur washers are used wherever the products are exposed to the wind, like for example boat sails, textile structures or awnings.
The teeth on the washer get caught in the material, so that it is almost impossible to tear the grommet off!
Our rolled rim grommets are available in polished brass, nickel plated brass, bronze plated brass, and 316 stainless steel.
We also offer hand driven tools, as well as manual, pneumatic or automatic machines for setting our eyelets.
Fasteners
We produce different types of fasteners for industries ranging from truck bodies to garments, or from boat covers to decoration.
Turn buttons
We supply small and big turn buttons for 16x9 mm and 20x12 mm oval eyelets.
Easy to use, this is the perfect accessory for fixing all types of materials. They are widely used among others for boat and car covers, or for mobile home covers and café terraces.
Our turn buttons are made of brass and are available in polished brass, nickel plated brass, and dark bronze plated brass.
Snap fasteners
We produce different models of snap fasteners (with one circular spring or with two parallel springs).
They are made of brass or stainless steel. They do not rust and can be easily attached with a small hand press.
Safety fasteners
With a simple "Snap on, pull off" action, Safety fasteners are easy to use. They are closed on three sides of the male and can be open only on the fourth side. They are commonly used on boat covers, vintage car hoods and military applications.

Awning clips :
Awning clips with or without head
Awning clips without head are used to secure the fabric to the awning roller tube. They pass through the awning fabric and into the holes in the roller tube.
Awning clips with head are used to attach the valance to the frame. They pass through the valance fabric and the awning fabric and are inserted into the hole provided in the frame.
All our clips are made of zinc plated steel and offer good protection against rust or oxidation.
