Lundberg Tech is highly engaged in the manufacturing and development of Granulators and Cutters. We ship more than 1000 Granulators out of our headquarters in Lille Skensved, Denmark per year. Lundberg Tech is probably the world’s largest manufacturer of Granulators and Cutters for integration into exhaust systems. Our Granulators help downsizing your waste, enabling a more sustainable production.

The Lundberg Tech Granulator and Cutter production covers every step from design, construction, manufacturing of all parts as well as assembly and test. Lundberg Tech is operating a machine shop with dedicated turning, milling and grinding machines for Granulator production.

The range of Lundberg Tech Granulators and Cutters is very comprehensive and there are dedicated models for almost any application. The range of Granulators and Cutters can be connected to pipe sizes from Ø80mm to Ø400mm, allowing for air amounts up to 10,000 m3 per hour. The air speed through the Granulator can be as fast as 80 m/s, permitting for process machine speeds up to 2500 m/min. The opening entrance of the Granulator can be as wide as 660mm allowing it to cut very wide and stiff materials. The Granulators are also available for cutting ultrathin materials down to 5 microns.

The standard Granulators and Cutters have a rotor with 3 knives and a direct coupling to a motor with 1400 or 2800 rpm.

Central Systems

Customised to your waste handling needs

In our Project Department we design central waste handling systems tailored specifically to your needs. A central waste handling system can ensure central collection of waste from an unlimited number of machines in your production, allowing an efficient and continuous production.

In a Central System the waste is very often transported to one or more collection points outside your building, allowing for easy removal of the waste and ensuring your factory floor space can be used for production machines rather than waste and bins. A Central System can also be designed with recycling in mind, so that the waste generated at a machine is directed to a specific collection point – helping your company to produce more sustainable.

The design of a Central System typically starts by analysing the overall need for waste handling in your facility, e.g. number and placement of machines, amount and types of material and machine speeds. Once we have gathered the information needed, we can make a proposal for a bespoke waste collection system for your facility. Don´t worry if you do not have all the above information. We very likely have experience from a similar production like yours and can guide you to an optimal solution for your waste handling needs.

The possibilities with a central waste handling system are almost unlimited, and we can handle anything from a high-speed edge trim to wide and sticky self-adhesive matrix waste.

All-in-one Units

As the name implies the All-in-one Units is a series of waste handling units containing everything you need to capture, convey, cut, collect and compact waste from your process machines. The All-in-one Units are all easy to install and operate, no matter if they are collecting waste from one or many process machines.

Each All-in-one Unit is designed with productivity in mind so that your lines can run at full speed without risking that the trim and waste removal is the bottleneck. With a well-functioning waste handling system you can expect to reduce labour for manual waste handling. Furthermore, you can expect to reduce the typical scrap generated each time you have to stop or start your production line.
