Our Products

Single, plied, textured and cabled glass fibre yarns (E-glass & SiO2 glass)
Single E-glass yarn - the twisted glass fibre rolls consisting of 400 to 800 individual filaments are the basic material for a large number of weaving applications. The filament diameters of 6 till 13 µm. The large variety of sizes ensures that the yarns can be used in all kinds of areas of application.
Textured E-glass yarn - we offer a wide range of textured glass fibre yarns: starting from 70 tex up to 4500 tex with different kind of textured effects. Manufactured from endless E-glass filaments for the weaving, assembling and winding procedures with a filament diameter of 6, 9 or 11 µm.
Cabled E-glass yarn – cabled yarn consists of two spooled 68 tex glass fibre yarns put together and twisted with a 0.1 mm stainless steel wire. Both yarn and wire thickness can be changed at customer request. Tex yarn specifies the weight of 1,000 metres of yarn in grams, so 68 tex means a thickness of yarn for which 1,000 metres weighs 68 grams.
High Silica twisted yarn and textured yarn - By chemical treatment of glass fibre with high SiO2-content, a new generation of high thermal resistance materials is created. Until quite recently, these high-silica materials were used only in aircraft and aerospace industries, but now they are used in various branches of industry, where heat resistant (up to 1000°C) materials are required.

Technical, coated and laminated glass fibre fabrics
Technical fabrics (TG) are made of alkali-free alumina borosilicate E-type glass fibre yarns with heat resistance up to 600°C. For the production TG fabrics we use yarns with a filament diameter of 6, 9, 11 or 13 µm.
Textured glass fibre fabrics (type GT) are made of alkali-free alumina borosilicate E-type glass fibre yarns. Textured yarns with a filament diameter of 6 and 9 µm are used for the production of textured fabrics, type GT.
Glass fibre products with a high SiO2 content are excellent high temperature insulators and can be used over long periods without losing the properties and without melting and vaporising at temperatures of up to 1000ºC.
Technical coated glass fibre fabrics for industrial insulation as well as for fire and smoke protection are made from alkali free alumina borosilicate E-type glass fibre yarns. For the production of coated glass fibre fabrics the yarns used have a filament diameter of 9µm. High silica coated fabrics, a high SiO2 content adds additional features for raw glass fibre fabrics. In the case of thermally untreated woven fabrics, silica materials shrink by up to 12% (+/-1%) at 1000°C while thermally treated woven fabrics and scrims can shrink by 1% till 3%, depending on the treatment process. Glass woven fabrics are characterised by their high tearing strength and the low strain, despite their low weight. Coating: Polyurethane Premium (PU); Polyurethane Industrial (PH), Silicone Premium (SI); Silicone Industrial (SH); Gum stock (GS); Intumescent graphite filled coating (BI); Neoprene (N); Coatings in combination with Aluminum foil or metallised Polyester foil (AL or MPF).
Laminates for thermal insulation can be made from from 2 types of glass (E-glass 600°C and SiO2-glass 1000+°C). In the project stage there is HR-glass (800°C), from which we will offer TG fabrics in the future. Each glass type is providing its own specific qualities. The temperature of 600°C, 1000°C given here refers to the loomstate fabric. Finishes such as laminating have an effect on the temperature resistance. Application features from laminating: media-tight, gas-tight, resistant to abrasion and buckling, high thermal radiation reflection capability.

Glass fibre mats
Non-woven products - needled mats and stitch-bonded mats are made from 2 different glass types (E-glass 600°C and SiO2-glass 1000+°C). In the project stage there is HR-glass (800°C), from which we will offer needled mats in the future. Each glass type is providing its own specific qualities.
Glass fibre mats are made of alkali-free alumina borosilicate E-type glass fibre yarns with a filament diameter of 6 to 13 µm and a length of the cut fibre of 30 to 100 mm without any bonding agent.
Glass fibre mats are environment-friendly, recyclable, and incombustible, meeting the requirements of DIN 4102.

Composite fabrics
Composite fabrics can be made from from 2 types of glass (E-glass 600°C and SiO2-glass 1000+°C). Each glass type is providing its own specific qualities. The temperature of 600°C, 1000°C given here refers to the loomstate fabric. Composites are made from glass fabrics applied with resin and special finishes (coupling agents), which are adapted to each type of fabric to achieve maximum strength.
Glass fibre-reinforced composites are distinguished by their excellent strength and weight ratio. Fabrics can be processed with a variety of different resins dependent on end-use requirements.
The choice of fabric construction is dictated by the level of curvature required in the composite part. Plain weaves give flat surfaces whilst twill and satins good drapeability and high fabric to resin ratios.

Atex® textile membranes
Atex® – Architectural Textiles are high strength glass fabrics, impregnated and coated with translucent or pigmented silicone elastomers.
They are suitable for external applications such as membrane roofs, cladding systems or shading canopies. For interiors they can be used for solar shading, acoustic control, ceiling panels or can be utilized in illuminated displays, diffusing light in an attractive glow.
Silicone coated fabrics are very flexible in the temperature range of -50°C to +200°C and filter out the harmful UVB light but allow the necessary light through for plants to grow. At high temperatures or in fires the product does not emit poisonous gases or flaming particles. On request, Atex® can also be delivered in various colours (minimum delivery quantities and conditions according to agreement).
