As a global market leader, the group supplies all well-known automobile manufacturers with airbags and airbag fabrics. GST employs more than 4,000 people worldwide. GST is part of the Hyosung Corporation.

Our Products
Airbagliner
A calibration hose made of double-layer fabric that is heat-resistant up to 150°C and can be removed in less than 60 minutes. The AIRBAGLINER® is highly pressure-resistant, particularly flexible and can be reused up to 6 times.
Splinter protection
Our heavy-duty safety fabric is used as a multi-layer curtain, for example on woodworking machines.
Multilayer fabric
The floating pattern incorporated into the fabric in the third dimension makes it possible to
systematically and precisely determine the shape pneumatic components assume on inflation. This
enables significantly improved cushioning that can be positioned to maximum effect.
Airbags and airbag fabrics
Global Safety Textiles produces virtually every type of airbag imaginable, for both drivers and passengers, including frontal, knee, and side airbags.
We use two types of fabrics: flat and one-piece woven (OPW).
sunproof
The highest precision in the manufacturing process guarantees reliable protection against sun, water and UV radiation - a fabric „made in Germany“.
The high-tensile, durable GST sunproof fabrics are lightweight and retain their shape. They are extremely effective and durable even in extreme environments.
Each fabric type, light and premium, has its own special attributes, making it the ideal choice for a particular deployment scenario.
