recot²® is a blend of finest, GOTS-certified organic cotton with recycled cotton from pre-consumer waste. The perfect combination of the best raw materials, high-tech spinning and environmentally friendly dyeing results in a high-quality premium yarn made of 100% cotton with an improved eco-balance.
recot²® is a product that delivers an exceptional saving of resources, especially water and energy, as well as a reduction in CO2 emissions. From a global perspective, ca. 5,000 litres of water can be saved with every kilogram of recot²®-textiles.
In cooperation with our partners, we only use selected raw materials and process waste that are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). recot²® yarns are being tested for harmful substances regularly according to the strict guidelines of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 product class I. By meeting the criteria of the OEKO-TEX® STeP and the GRS additionally, the production of the yarns is especially environmentally friendly.
