DBT Fibre was founded in 2003 as a result of the merger of four companies created in the first half of the last century in four countries with a long historical tradition in the textile sector. The merger of these companies adds more than one hundred years of experience in the sector and concentrates forces in a commercial action aimed at the most widespread presence on the markets.

DBT Fibre combines the most advanced textile technology with specially modified machinery to offer a wide range of carded sliver and combed tops for classic and fancy yarns. Carded slivers for neppy yarns, flamed slivers for Tweeds, natural fibre tops made from modified fibres such as flat section viscose are the core of our knowhow.

Our range includes slivers for Worsted Spinning and Short-Staple Ring and OE Spinning, slivers for pile fabric and fibre effects for Carded Spinning. We process all types of natural and synthetic fibres. Furthermore in 2023 DBT Fibre opened a new division, Closeoop, dedicated to high quality mechanical recycling of any textile waste or byproduct, offering new life to wastes to be used in new applications.
