About us
Bandfabriek Devos – Arrotex is a family business in Belgium that is active in the textile industry, with products ranging from customised elastics for the automotive sector to binding for clothes.
For over 40 years, Bandfabriek Devos have been specialised in cutting textiles for different industries. Our machinery is very well equipped to cut various types of textiles, such as biais. We can also cut various types of materials to length, both cold-cut and ultrasonically.
In addition to cutting fabrics, we also specialize in folding and piping cord. These piping cords are eventually used in the finish of pillows, clothing, mattresses or bed linen, for example.

Our Products
Piping
In our sector, piping cord is also known as welting cord. Here, a cord is stitched into the fabric.
The available cord thicknesses are 2, 4 or 6 mm. These piping cords are eventually used in the finish of pillows, clothing, mattresses or bed linen, for example.
We also do a lot of contract work, where we process the fabric(s) provided to us by the customer into piping cord.
Cutting textiles
Our machinery is very well equipped to cut various types of textiles, such as biais.

Bias and straight tapes
We distinguish this category between straight fabric and bias ( slanted ) fabrik. The bias fabric that you can buy on a roll is also known as biais, bias tape or bias ribbon.
Bias tape:
In the production of elastic bias tape and binding material, the straight fabric is laid at an angle. This way, the bias tape becomes stretchy, which makes it easier to use the elastic fabric to round off curves. If desired, you can buy bias tape in piping. As we are specialists in folding and cutting textiles, so you can also choose to buy your tape in folded form.
Straight fabric:
In addition to the stretch bias tape, we also have a very extensive stock of straight fabrics. All kinds of qualities and materials are available, in many different colours. We also often do contract work whereby we process your fabrics for you.
Woven tapes - narrow ribbons
Over the years, we have also specialised in all kinds of narrow ribbons; in all materials, qualities, colours and sizes. These are used in numerous applications.

We are a regular supplier of a large range of elastics. These can be braided, knitted or woven elastics. We sell elastic on rolls.
We have large stock of black and white elastic binding available. Other colours are available on demand. We also offer flame retardant elastics. These are mainly used in the automotive world.
