Baldwin offers non-contact precision spray systems designed to save time, money and valuable resources.
Baldwin’s precision spray systems for finishing and remoistening utilize non-contact spray technology, meaning that you will always have a controlled optimal coverage of the exact amount of liquids for reaching specific characteristics of the fabric.
Since the exact required amount of water and chemistry is always applied – no more and no less, the water consumption can be cut by as much as 50%. This contributes to a considerably enhanced productivity in your finishing process.
Whether dealing with textiles, non-wovens or technical textiles, the precision spray technology is able to process a wide range of low-viscosity water-based chemicals, such as softeners, anti-microbial agents, water repellents, oil repellents, flame retardants, and more.
Baldwin offers the market’s most efficient Corona/Plasma treatment systems with high-performance electrodes ensuring effective surface treatment for enhanced dyeing, coating, and adhesion on a variety of textile materials. The slim design enables easy integration and retrofit into existing production lines, and our features allow for fast and easy service.

Our Products
TexForz
Remoistening technology that meets today's demanding sanforizing requirements.
TexForz provides deep, even moisture coverage critical for assuring consistent and repeatable shrinkage performance.
TexForz utilizes Precision Application Technology (PAT), a non-contact textile remoistening system enabling a high spray intensity and deep impregnation, even on thick fabrics.
Enhanced process and product quality
The exact amount of moisture required is consistently and uniformly sprayed across the textile surface. Deep penetration into the core of the yarn assures consistent shrinkage results eliminating failures due to inconsistent moisture application.
Consistent shrinkage results allows the factory to shift the residual shrinkage safety threshold, minimizing over-shrinkage and resulting in increased fabric yield of 1-2%!
Closed loop capable
TexForz connects with third party moisture measurement systems allowing for automatic fine tune adjustments ensuring consistent moisture from the beginning to the end of the batch.
Don't "sling" water onto the fabric, spray with precision!
TexForz sprays directly on the fabric and not in a 360 degree

TexCoat G4
In operation, the TexCoat™ uses a precision spray application system to evenly apply water or chemistries to one or both sides of a moving web roll of fabric or other material, using an application system that spans the width of the web with evenly spaced spray nozzles. This “non-contact” method of applying liquids to surfaces is highly efficient and eco-friendly, because the minimum required amount of water or chemistries can be used.
Mist contaminant covers prevent aerosols from escaping while chemistries are being applied, and exchangeable cassette valve rails enable service of spray valves both offline and during operation, to minimize downtime.
Systems can be used for wet-on-wet or wet-on-dry application; individual nozzle control allows for an added level of control over the chemistry or water application process.
A digital touchscreen control panel makes for easy operation of the system, and automatic valve failure detection adds extra assurance that saves time.

RotorSpray
Ahlbrandt’s Rotor Spray™ application system uses rotary disks to achieve even, uniform coating of process liquids onto films - coatings and chemicals can be applied to one or both sides of the film, and different liquids can be used on each side of the web, for applications that require this.
Each Rotor Spray system has a 60-liter tank that feeds the lines to the rotary heads/discs; excess liquids are reciculated back into the tank, enabling near-zero waste of chemicals during the production process.
Systems are simple to operate, offer low maintenance costs, and are available in spray widths as wide as 5500mm. The precise spray helps operators save chemicals and drying time while achieving highly cosistent dosing that is flexible and easy to adjust, and is uniform across the substrate.
A key benefit of Ahlbrandt’s Rotor Spray system is its ability to apply coatings very thin: chemistries can be accurately sprayed 10 to 1000nm thick.

Plasma Pure
New: Plasma Pure for Textiles
The Ahlbrandt Plasma Pure is proven to enable enhanced and more efficient dyeing, coating and lamination of textiles and nonwovens. The system’s high-voltage ceramic electrodes generate an air plasma used to efficiently treat the fabric surface. The result: considerably improved absorption and adhesion properties of the fabric.
Dying Quality Boosts Productivity:
While enhancing the absorption properties with an optimized and uniform dyeing result, the Plasma technology also significantly accelerates the absorption process. These benefits not only increase quality, they also boost productivity since Plasma treated fabric with faster absorption requires considerably shorter drying time.
Improved Coating and Lamination:
Additionally, the system increases the adhesion properties of the fabric, for more efficient coating and laminating processes.
Designed for Easy Handling:
The slim design enables easy integration and retrofit into existing production lines and allows for fast and easy service.
Defined by high efficiency treatment, maximum uptime and easy maintenance, Plasma Pure facilitates optimized productivity and continuous quality in your production process.
