High Tenacity Nylon

 Meltex currently produces dyed, IRR-dyed, printed, IRR-printed, coated, FRPU coated and laminated high-tenacity nylons.  We have the facilities to test our fabric in-house and have access to outside labs including SGS and CNAS.  Our quality inspections are carried out by our dedicated staff in the Suzhou area of China.  We offer a wide range of high-tenacity nylons ranging from 30D up to 1600D.  Our flame-retardant coatings comply with FMVSS: 302, BS EN ISO 10525:2002 and ASTM D1230: 2010 as well as various other flame-retardant standards.  We also offer anti-static fabrics using NEGASTAT yarn to pass BS EN ISO 1149. Our fabrics are used for government contracts around the world the automotive and aviation industries.

 Nylon

 We produce a wide range of standard nylon fabrics for various end uses, from dyed only, to printed and coated in various weaves and weights.  One of our most popular nylons is the traditional 210D Oxford.  Nylon is preferred in the medical, automotive industries and military as it is a lightweight yet strong fabric.  The benefits of using nylon fabrics are their excellent abrasion and wear and tear resistance with high tensile and compressive strength.  Nylon is resistant to water, mildew, and chemicals it also maintains its shape and strength over time/continued use.
