Bianco® INSTRUMENTATION is a complete range of components for optimal control of fabric processes at various stages of finishing.

Bianco® WEIGHTEX SWB1/SWT1are non-radioactive systems for measuring the specific weight of running tapes. 

The Bianco® WEIGHTEX SWB1 Sensor, through the use of low power soft backscatter X-rays, remotely detects the specific weight of moving tapes. The tape can be, for example, fabric, TNT, plastic film or any other homogeneous or inhomogeneous material comparable to these materials. 

The system consists of 2 parts, a passive mechanical shielding and focusing part placed below the tape being measured and the sensor placed above.

The Bianco® WEIGHTEX SWT1 Sensor, through the use of low power attenuated soft X-rays, remotely detects the specific weight of moving tapes. The tape can also be formed by superimposed, laminated or coated layers or by composite or layered materials.

The system consists of 2 parts, the emitter below and the reader above.

• SSCAN traversing systems are traversing portals of different sizes for housing of the Weightex sensor. The measuring head can be equipped with many sensors for simultaneous detection of different parameters and it can have multiple applications (textile, non-woven, coating and converting, glass fibers and composites, plastic films, paper).
