Teknomelt was established in 2009 and started production in 2010 with Meltblown under 2.500m2 closed area.
 
In 2011, Teknomelt started to produce PP Spunbond to increase product range, capacity and to serve more markets with alternative products and to be able to produce Off-Line Composite Fabric Production with Meltblown & Spunbond. Teknomelt also expanded closed area for production site to 4.000m2. Addition to these, with a custom integrated Slot System Technology to Spunbond Line, Teknomelt has became able to produce better fabric surfaces with more homogenous fibre distribution on Spunbond fabrics.
 
In 2012 and 2013, additional composit productions and some Off-Line application were established and necessary capacity increasing upgrades were adapted to Meltblown and Spunbond lines. Closed area for production site expanded to 6.000m2 in same years.
 
In 2014, SMS/SMMS production line has been built especially to serve Hygiene and Medical Market with increased production capacity. Closed area for production site has been increased to 8.000m2. Together with the new line Teknomelt also established a whole new laboratory to follow production quality. During production, In-Line Cam Recording System enables to follow production and provide records for production and customers to focus on quality. Following quality tests are being applied to monitor quality especially for hygiene and medical market at indoor laboratory. Hydrostatic Head Tester, Re-Wet, Strike Through Time, Tensile Strength, Physical Attributes, etc... With SMS/SMMS production line, Teknomelt offers Ultra Soft Topsheets and Leg-Cuff (Barriers) with high durable properties for Baby Diapers and Adult Incontinence Products for Hygiene market.
 

In 2019 1st quarter, new SMS production line will built especially for hygiene, medical, furniture and mattress producers.

Today, Teknomelt has become one of the leading manufacturer of Nonwoven Meltblown, Spunbond, SMS and SMMS fabrics in Turkey. Teknomelt has 1000 tons monthly production capacity and experience of serving wide range of markets all over the world together with exporting 45% of production to foreign customers and 55% to local market.
