EDOLAN® Bio-PT is a 40% solids bio-based aliphatic polyester polyurethane dispersion. The bio-based content is 38%. EDOLAN Bio-PT is suitable as topcoat on several different substrates ranging from cotton, polyester, and polyamide.

EDOLAN® Bio-PT is developed for textile coating applications. The main application areas will be technical textiles like, backpacks, tents and outdoor. However is also suitable for padding for home textile applications where polyurethane based stiffening is needed. Here EDOLAN® Bio-PT outperforms fossil-based polyurethanes on price and performance in many cases.

EDOLAN® Bio-PT needs to be formulated with several additives for optimized performance when applied as coating. Hardness of the coating film can be optimized by mixing with EDOLAN® Bio-PB.
