Forsstrom High Frequency AB develops, manufactures, and sells machines for welding PVC and PU material with high frequency (HF) technology.
Since the 1970's, Forsstrom has perfected and developed the HF technology to meet our customers' specific requirements.
We sell and service our machines with the aid of a global network of representatives and service technicians. We also have a large international customer base. Quality, innovation, and safety are the core principles of our manufacturing philosophy and Forsstrom works with the intention of developing long-term partnerships with our customers. Investing in a Forsstrom HF-welding machine is an investment for many years to come. That’s why we offer a complete concept including installation, training, service and global support.
Our product range is very wide, with machines suitable for a variety of end products in many different market segments. Our clients manufacture a great mix of products, such as truck and boat covers, tarps, tents, structures, sunshades, pool liners, billboards, inflatable products, liquid tanks, stretch ceilings, valve membranes and oil booms.

MG-Flex 300
Forsstrom MG-Flex 300 is a compact HF-welding machine with a welding head that can rotate 180°.
The 180° rotation is a helpful tool in the HF-welding process and it makes it easy for the operators to join heavy materials.
To increase the manufacturing efficiency, MG-Flex has several unique features: a Z-guide for controlling overlaps up to 80 mm in width, increased lift height (daylight) of welding head 190 mm, and more. With its great flexibility, Forsstrom MG-Flex creates new production possibilities.

TDW 200-1000
Forsstrom has several travelling machine models, such as the TDW machine (5-25 kW), which is one of our most popular machines. There are different ver-sions of the TDW, such as the TDW-Mega (15-25 kW), with which it is possible to weld a 400 mm wide weld in comparison to the standard TDW’s maximum welding width of 200 mm.
Another version is the TDW-Ultra (16-30 kW) with a welding width of up to 600 mm.
All TDW-models travel over a table of selected length and are equipped with software, accessories and tools that help adapt the machine for different end products and various ways of working.
With its fast machine movement, the ability to pre-program welding cycles and the ability to switch the machine over to automatic welding, the TDW-models are suitable for large products with long, straight welds, such as tents, truck covers and billboards, as well as large-scale production.
One very useful accessory is the impulse welding unit, which is a new accessory to the Forsstrom ma-chines and with it, it’s possible to weld materials that otherwise are not HF-weldable.

TX-Mega 400-800
Forsstrom TX-Mega is a larger version of the popular HF-welding machine TX and can weld up to 450 mm in width.
A Forsstrom TX-Mega will be exhibited at Techtextil.
The powerful TX-Mega (10-20 kW) has been developed to weld volume products and can weld an area of up to 800 cm².
TX-Mega has a wider welding table and extra large space behind the electrode compared to the sister machine TX (880 mm compared to TX’s 750 mm).
Additionally, the TX-Mega has larger space between the electrode holder and the earth electrode.
The machine can be used as a stand-alone, or as a complement to a larger system of welding machines.

FG 120 generator
Forsstrom has developed a small 3 kW HF-generator with built-in control system for controlling welding parameters such as time and power. The FG 120 is suitable as a stand-alone unit for eyelet welding. The generator is also ideal for inline HF-production of medical and packaging applications.
Machine options:
- Adaptation to external HF-press such as a Carmo eyelet press or Forsstrom's table press TP 120
- Movable on wheels
A Forsstrom FG 120 with two CP9 will be exhibited at Techtextil.
The generator on the picture is used with the table press TP. The TP is an accessory available for the FG 120 and has a maximum electrode length of 300 mm. The TP 120 is ideal for small detailed welds, such as reinforcement band around a large structure.

CP9
The CP9 is a single-sided punching and welding of eyelets.
