ELAS A/S is an experienced supplier and developer of elastic and rigid tapes. We are situated in Denmark where we have a complete assembly of machinery covering all production phases from braiding, weaving, and crocheting to continuous dyeing, rotation printing, and packing.
We are a customer-oriented company using our specialized knowledge and flexibility to provide the best service for our customers.
We have a sound knowledge of our many products and we use that knowledge to corporate and advise our customers, if they have ideas for new products which we then develop together.We often enter into cooperation with our customers about developing new products for the market.
As the market changes we keep up with development and have established techniques so that we today can manufacture OEM/ready-made products based on our narrow elastics and rigid tapes just according to our customers’ requirements.
A successful project is when we have developed a product which fulfils our customers’ requirements and with which the customers are satisfied. We are very focused on performing a proper job.

We will prioritize innovation, design, quality as well as pricing parameters and be the preferred supplier of: braided, woven and crocheted “narrow” ribbons (elastic as well as rigid tapes).

Rigid narrow fabrics
For the industry, we produce a broad spectre of technical bands, flame retardant, anti-static, cables for the HIFI sector and many more
REHAB: We manufacture products which are being used for rehabilitation equipment. This can be accessories for devices, for example a lifting sheet, used for lifting a patient from the sick bed to a wheelchair.
SAFTY: We produce ribbon and elastic used for increasing the safety. This can for example be straps in safety equipment, straps for fastening tents or for securing ladders etc.
FLAME RETARDANT: We produce articles in flame retardant materials. Either we use spun yarn which is flame retardant or we treat the product afterwards with agents ensuring that the product obtains flame retardant qualities.
ANTISTATIC: In case of problems with static electricity we offer ribbon and elastic produced in antistatic yarns or an after treatment ensuring good antistatic qualities. Alternatively thin stainless steel wires can be woven in for discharging static electricity.

SUPPORT: We produce elastic and ribbon ensuring items to be held to the body. This can for example be an elastic holding a heartbeat monitor to the body during child birth.
CONDUCTIVE ribbon, tapes & webbings:
We produce ribbons, tapes webbings, elastic and non elastic which are used for cables or wires. This can for example be conductions for sleep monitoring or signal cables used in the audio industry.
Many of our elastic (logo elastic) and rigid tapes are custom made and used in the textile sector for e.g. clothes, underwear, mattresses, shoe laces and furniture plus we offer Silicone coating, Dying, Printing, After treatment and cur & sewing and more …….

We cooporate closely with medical device companies, supplying and developing new medical devices.
FIXATION: We produce elastic and ribbon which are used as a medical device, or ribbons used to fixate a medical device.
An example could be narrow elastic ribbons for fixating of ear loops, surgical face masks etc.
ORTHOPAEDICS: We produce elastic and ribbon which are used in the orthopaedic sector. It will typically be ribbons which the customer uses for production of supporting products manufactured in materials which allows the skin to breathe.
