textreme protect®
The family of the multi-risk-fabrics “textreme protect®” was expanded by Corporate Fabrics with interesting new features.
Newly developed are stretch-versions with all norms as mentioned below.
All types of textreme protect® are based on an intelligent blend of Kermel® fibers and other fiber types. The protective fabric fulfills the norms EN ISO 20471 warning protections, EN ISO 11612 heat protections and flaming protection, EN ISO 11611 welder protections, EN 1149 antistatic, EN 13034 chemical protections and IEC 61482-1-2 electric arc. The laminated version or the combination of the protective fabric with a laminated hardly inflammable lining fulfils, in addition, EN 343. With a part of Lenzing FR® and the low weight the single fabric types offer an excellent wear behavior.
The application of different weights allows to fulfill different classes in the standards. Another advantage of the protective fabric is the fact that all desired colors can be realized. This leads to the considerable improvement of the washing qualities and fastness in the area of the industrial laundry, because multicolored protective clothing’s can be made out of one fabric type.
The fabrics are certified according to the following standards:
EN ISO 20471 (High visibility warning clothing)
EN ISO 11611 (Protective clothing for welding and related procedures)
EN ISO 11612 (Protective clothing for workers who are exposed to heat)
EN 1149 (Protective clothing for electrostatic properties)
EN 13034-6 (Protective clothing for liquid chemicals)
IEC 61482-1-2 (Protective clothing against the hazards of an electric arc)
