Carmo A/S designs, produces, and sells their own injection moulded plastic components. We have done this since 1940s and sell our components to a wide range of industries worldwide. Our facilities in Denmark are ISO 13485 certified and highly automated, ensuring high quality at competitive prices.

At Techtextil, we present an upgraded version of the CP9, which is a high frequency (HF) welding machine for single-sided punching and welding of plastic eyelets. The new CP9 has been updated for simpler usage and easier service and maintenance. The upgraded CP9 is a result of a partnership between Carmo and the Swedish HF welding machine company Forsstrom.

CP9 HF welding machine
CP9 is a high frequency (HF) welding machine for single-sided punching and welding of plastic eyelets. The new CP9 has been updated for simpler usage and easier service and maintenance. The upgraded CP9 is a result of a partnership between Carmo and the Swedish HF welding machine company Forsstrom.
Valves
Carmo's plastic valve portfolio is extensive and comprises of weldable PVC or PVC/PUR valves for inflatables, vacuum valves for rescue equipment and splints, pressure valves, overpressure valves and relief valves, produced in ABS. They are used together with a weldable flange.
Handles
Carmo's handles are used on inflatables, dinghies, boats, portable water tanks for fighting wildfires, gym mattresses etc. This robust handle is a perfect match for products used in harsh environments.
These components are manufactured in Denmark by Injection Molding, securing high quality, low unit prices, focus on sustainability and respect for the enveronmental impact of production.
Cleats
Carmo's large programme of weldable line supports and cleats are made of PVC or PVC/PUR. They are used in a wide variety of applications like:
- Rafts, dinghies and floating barriers in the maritime industry
- Tarpaulins and lorry covers
- Tents for camping and humanitarian relief
- Ventilation ducts for mining
- Emergency equipment
- Bouncy Castles and playgrounds
Eyelets
Carmos HF weldable plastic eyelets are strong, flexible and do not rupture. We blend the right composition of raw materials to meet your specific demands for performance, weather conditions, UV radiation exposure, etc.
Compared to metal grommets, welded PVC eyelets will fuse together with the foil and result in a joint that is significantly stronger and can withstand significantly higher pull forces. This is especially true when working in mesh materials.
Typically used for hole reinforcements in banners, tarpaulins, building wraps etc. Geometry and material optimised for High Frequency (HF) welding.
PVC and plastic eyelets will not tear out and will not rust and stain the material. They can be colour matched to the fabric and will make recycling of PVC and vinyl banners much easier.
