Über uns
AGC Plasma Technology Solutions offers industrial coating equipment for the functionalisation of textiles by low pressure vacuum processes. The equipment allows to metallize textiles (aluminum, silver, stainless steel, copper,...) and/or making them hydrophobic or hydrophilic. Applications can be found for applying low emissivity coatings, water (and oil) repellency treatment, corrosion protection, electrical conductivity etc. Plasma coating equipment and processes are environmental friendly and sustainable.
We support the customer for proof of concept in our demonstration lab in Lauenförde, Germany and realize the design, plant construction, commissioning and start-up of your PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) or PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) coating equipment.

Low pressure coating equipment - Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor (PECVD)
A fluor- or silicon polymer based coatings can functionalise woven and non-woven textiles into durable water and oil repellent materials.
AGC Plasma Technology Solutions is offering the process and industrial equipment to realise such treatment by an environmental friendly PECVD treatment. Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) is achieved by introducing reactive gases between parallel electrodes creating the plasma. The source developed by AGC Plasma offers a sustainable alternative to wet chemical processes.
Efficient and high durability
REACH compliant
Low energy consumption
No water consumption

Low pressure coating equipment - Magnetron sputtering
Magnetron sputtering allows to deposit thin films of metal layers, oxides and/or nitrides on large area's to functionalise their surface. Potential applications can be found to deposit:
- (infra-red) reflective layers,
- decorative coatings,
- electrical conductive layers,
- anti-bacterial and anti-viral coating,
- electro magnetic shielding,
- ....
Magnetron sputtering is a well established PVD technology allowing for large area coating at reasonnable costs.
AGC has abundant experience with this technology for the coating of glass surfaces and is now developping this technology for textile functionalisation.
