Textile Testing
TESTEX uses the latest testing instruments to perform multi-faceted, comprehensive tests on fibres, single and ply yarns, woven and knitted fabrics, non-wovens and finished products. Tests are carried out predominantly in accordance with ISO and EN standards and are accredited for compliance with ISO 17025 (STS 228).

PPE Certification
CE conformity and type examination
Personal protective equipment intended for sale in Switzerland and the EU must comply with the applicable safety requirements and standards. In Switzerland, distinguishing the tested and certified clothing with the CE mark is optional – whereas in the EU the CE conformity mark must be attached. The legal requirements (Regulation on Personal Protective Equipment PSAV / Regulation (EU) 2016/425) must be taken into account here.

UV STANDARD 801
The UV STANDARD 801 is the worldwide strictest testing and certification system for clothing and shading textiles with UV protection factor. It's well suited for e.g. fabrics, any type of clothing, shoes, awnings, blinds, sunshades, leather and foils that protect us from UV radiation.
The UV STANDARD 801 testing criteria for determining the UV protection factor is based on an Extreme Case Scenario:
- most sensitive skin type of consumer
- wet and stretched conditions of textiles
- maximum radiation intensity
