Technofabric

The headquarters of Costigliole Saluzzo (CN) host the administration and management activities. The 16,000 sq.mt. mill also hosts the manufacturing activities necessary to obtain grey fabrics (warping, sizing and weaving) together with in-process control and product inspections. The intense activities of research and development are supported by a technological laboratory, equipped with the most modern analysis and measure instruments. The works in Piasco (CN) covers 5,500 sheltered square meters and concentrates on exclusive finishing treatments. These specific treatments allow us to obtain the technological features and performance level which distinguish our fabrics in the market. The fabric width can be as much as 3,70 meters, in a weight ranging from 35 to 1,200 g/m2 and gauge ranging from 0.10 to 1.50 mm, in large seamless rolls up to 4,000 m long. Endless (mono- or multi-filament) and discontinuous yarns are used, either textured or gimped or combinations. The materials consist of natural, artificial and synthetic fibers such as cotton, polyester and mixes in varying proportions, nylon, polypropylene, meta-aramid, para-aramid, carbon and other high performance fibers


History of our company

Technofabric was set up in 1978 in Costigliole Saluzzo. In the beginning, it was just a cotton weaving mill producing items for the graphic industry. In time the company has consolidated its position in the field and has become a leading manufacturer, well-established worldwide. In parallel Technofabric has developed performance abilities in other fields of application, has added value to its products, especially through some internally designed and personally developed finishing treatments. Today Technofabric is a vertical organization with a complete production cycle, from yarn to finished fabrics. Technofabric’s success is the result of being able to transform an idea into a performing fabric, no matter whether aramid, nylon, high tenacity polyester, carbon or simply cotton yarns are used. What really matters is the value we obtain for our clients.
