Technical textiles

For the manufacture of technical textiles, the KARL MAYER Group offers weft-insertion warp knitting machines and stitch-bonding machines as well as fiber spreading units. These machines can be used for producing coating substrates as well as open grid structures and multiaxial layer fabrics for the fiber reinforcement of composite components. Moreover, this enterprise also develops alternative technologies for the production of multilayer textiles made from high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass or aramid.
