The company Fulltech Fiber Glass Corp. (FFG or Fulltech) is a Taiwan-listed company having its principal business in fiber glass yarn and electronic fiber glass fabric production and sale. Fulltech was established in 1999 and has been a public company in Taiwan since 2003. The major funders and shareholders are Unitech Printed Circuit Board Corp., a Taiwan-listed PCB company and also a leading HDI PCB manufacturer in the world, and major shareholder of Unitech, Mr. Pen-Tsao Chang and his family. Mr. Chang was Fulltech’s first Chairman as well; he passed his position on to his second son, Mr. Hermes Chang, in 2010. Presently, Mr. Hermes Chang is Fulltech’s chairman and CEO.
In year 2000, Fulltech established its first fiber glass yarn furnace in Dou Liu, Taiwan with annual production capacity of 36,000 metric tons of glass. Then, Fulltech built another furnace (Hu Wei, Taiwan) with annual capacity of 48,000 metric tons of glass and started mass production in July 2010, which made Fulltech has become the world Top 3 manufacturer of fiber glass yarn. In order to meet the strong demands from Asian electronic PCB market, Fulltech established its first electronic fiber glass fabric plant in Taiwan in 2007 with annual capacity of 100 millions square meters of fabrics. In 2005, so as to diversify its business risk, Fulltech started to spread its business territory into industrial application yarn market by providing a wide range of products. By its excellent sales partners, good quality and long-term commitment to its customers, Fulltech now is the No. 1 fiber glass yarn exporter into US and European area.

Single Glass Yarns
FFG glass yarns are manufactured from E-glass which, owing to its composition, imparts specific features to them (good electrical insulation properties above all). Yarn is produced by twisting of a strand having several hundred particular filaments in diameter from 5 to 11 microns. Standard twist direction is Z, but any yarn can be supplied with S twist direction as well. Fine yarns are twisted with 40 or 36 twists/m, coarser ones with 28 t/m. All currently used sizes are starch/oil based, i.e. primarily suitable for PCB production but not limiting using of the yarns to this application field only. Some new sizes for specific applications (PTFE ...) are under development process at the moment. All yarns can be supplied in electronic quality (A grade – defined maximum number of free filaments visible on bobbin surface), some of them in industrial quality as well (I grade).
All products conform to RoHS requests.
