Ready-made parts
Customer-oriented high-tech solutions for thermal and acoustic insulation
The shape specifications of the products are as diverse as the kinds of insulation tasks customers around the world come to Frenzelit for. This is why Frenzelit offers so many different versions of high-temperature-resistant solutions. Frenzelit is known for its customization possibilities and versatility. The fit is a prerequisite for functional insulation. The finishing specialists at Frenzelit use CAD drafting and prototyping to develop service-friendly mounting and installation concepts for your insulation elements. Frenzelit supports its customers through all stages of the process – from the prototype to series-ready product.
Sewn and finished
Frenzelit’s finishing department offers a variety of high-temperature-resistant sewing yarns and seam types for the different use cases to ensure that the seams on the insulation solutions do not weaken in continuous use. Snap fasteners, eyelets, buckles, hook and loop fasteners guarantee simple installation and removal even in difficult installation conditions.
Applications include insulation for large diesel engines, flexible launders, trenchless sewer rehabilitation, gas turbine pillows and safety blankets.

Needlemats for thermal and acoustic insulation
The careful selection and optimum processing of the raw materials ensure that technical needlemats by Frenzelit shine with consistently high insulation properties regardless of how they are supplied – as rolled goods, punched parts or 3D molded parts.
Coating, lamination or reinforcement with scrim (up to 9mm thick): finishing processes can be used to adapt the properties of Frenzelit needlemats to customer-specific requirements.
In addition to insulation, technical needlemats are also used in fields such as filtration, automotive, heating and air conditioning and machine manufacturing & plant engineering.

Technical woven fabrics
Woven fabrics by Frenzelit are excellent high-temperature-resistant materials that are used in both thermal and acoustic insulation. They are also outstanding substrates for coatings. Frenzelit can specifically adapt the properties of its woven fabrics with respect to their mechanical resistance, insulation effect, water and gas tightness and many other aspects to satisfy customer-specific and project-oriented requirements.

Woven tapes, cords, packings and sleevings
Insulation and sealing tape high-temperature applications
Woven tapes by Frenzelit are flexible and easy to install. They are also very tear resistant and dimensionally stable thanks to their fabric structure with firm edges on both sides. The many coating possibilities and their structure make it possible to adapt the tapes to different customer requirements.
Cords for high-temperature insulation
Thanks to the different temperature limits of Frenzelit’s various grades and the optimum raw material processing, the cords can be perfectly coordinated to the respective customer applicationand provided with a knitted sheath on request. Insulation cords have the following advantages:
- Customizable
- Dimensionally stable
- Tear-resistant
- Elastic
- High quality for long service life
Packings for high-temperature applications
Frenzelit packings can be 2 or 3-directionally square, rectangular or round braided. Several layers can be braided together to achieve the desired dimensions. They are also available as cut pieces. The packings are either continuously braided or provided with different fillings. This makes it possible to cover a wide range of applications. Different surface finishes complete the portfolio.
Sleevings
Braided sleevings are elastic, flexible and can easily be adapted to the respective application. The temperature requirements and use case determine the product quality. The surfaces can be coated on request, e.g. with silicone. The sleevings provide insulation and can be used for example for hydraulic lines.

Molded and punched parts
3D molded parts for high-temperature insulation
Textile molded parts by Frenzelit offer OEMs and their suppliers in the field of exhaust systems and emission control an innovative, ready-to-install best solution for insulation tasks – perfect, dimensionally stable and automated installation.
Your advantages:
- Faster
Reduced cycle times thanks to simple – even automated – assembly
- More precise
Dimensional stability for precise positioning and mounting
- Safer
No skin irritation during assembly due to fibers that are loose or sticking out
- More effective
Optimal 3D geometry in the tightest spaces – without “hot spots”
They allow for perfect high-temperature insulation up to 1100 °C in the tightest spaces, custom geometries with variable wall thicknesses (gradients) – also in 3D molds – and low thermal conductivity. Molded parts by Frenzelit contain no harmful substances, emit no smoke or unpleasant odors and are supplied tailor made and ready-to-install.
Punched parts – customized solution for thermal insulation
Two-dimensional insulation components are punched, laser-cut or plotted from woven fabrics and nonwovens. A selection of woven fabrics and needlemats is available for insulation solutions in different temperature ranges up to 1100 °C. The required geometries are recorded with CAD technology according to customer specifications, then precisely punched, plottered or cut with a water jet to the smallest detail.
