µSPEED Length and Speed Measurement System
With a measurement accuracy of ± 0,05% the µSPEED Laser-Encoder is the perfectly suited gauge to replace tactile speedometers/rotary encoders or to replace length and speed measurement via machine drives. The non-contact µSPEED laser encoder length measurement and speed measurement systems operate contact-free and because of that without slippage, are maintenance-free and permanently calibrated, while being almost material-independent. Light, dark and black, reflecting, matt, structured and rough surfaces are measured with high accuracy and without changing the parameter settings. The µSPEED laser gauge measures roll lengths and controls cutting processes and machines. Differential length and differential speed can also be measured.

TMS Thickness Measurement System
The systems for thickness measurement TMS from ELOVIS work on the basis of non-contact edge detection in reflection. The measurement can be carried out during the movement of the material to be measured or when the object to be measured is stationary. Measurement objects are e.g. strand goods, web and strip goods, plates and piece goods. The high-precision measurement is used for production monitoring as well as process optimisation and documentation of the delivery condition of the produced goods. TMS systems are maintenance-free, permanently calibrated and measure largely independent of the material. TMS systems are used, for example, to measure the thickness of strips, profiles, pipes, plates, beams, bolts, rolls made of a wide variety of materials.

µMETER-X Cross Section Light Scanner for Width Measurement
The width height diameter measurement systems μMETER-X of ELOVIS are used for non-contact cross-section measurement of profiles, strip goods and discrete parts in the production process, during conveying movement in the longitudinal direction. The highly accurate measurement in the light scanner generally serves production monitoring, process optimization and documentation of the delivery status of all manufactured goods. μMETER-X systems use light reflection or transmitted light. μMETER-X systems are maintenance-free, permanently calibrated and measure largely independent of the material. As a kind of “optical caliper”, μMETER-X systems are used for cross-section measurement, profile measurement as well as measurement of width, height, diameter … of web, tape, profiles, tube, plate, board, beam, bolt and roller made out of different materials.

SLM Length-Section Light Scanner for Discrete Part Length Measurement
μMETER-SLM product series is used for the non-contact final measurement of discrete parts lengths in the production process, while transporting the discrete parts in longitudinal direction. The highly accurate measurement of the optical light scanner generally serves the production optimization, the good/bad sorting as well as the documentation of the delivery condition of discrete parts. The SLM product series is based on a worldwide unique LED length-section light scanner measurement technology. SLM systems are maintenance-free, permanently calibrated and measure independent of material. SLM systems are used for the highly accurate, non-contact length measurement of plates, tiles, winding cores and of profiles or tubes made out of a wide variety of materials.

µSPEED-MID certified Length Measurement
If goods are sold based on length or area size within Europe, they must be measured with "calibrated" length measuring machines according to the Measuring Instruments Directive MID 2014/32/EU. For these cases, ELOVIS offers the MID-COUNTER, which can be operated with the non-contact length measuring systems type µSPEED as well as with measuring wheel encoders. The ELOVIS MID-COUNTER is equipped with a long-term memory that safely stores over 4 million measurement results. The MID-COUNTER also offers numerous control functions and interfaces for connection to production data acquisition (PDA). ELOVIS is also top in consulting on all topics related to the MID (Measurement Instruments Directive).
