Märkische Faser is a German polyester staple fiber producer on basis of virgin and recycling raw-materials. We produce fibers in white, black and spundyed from 0,9dtex up to 28dtex and tow in white, black and colors from 1,9dtex to 6,7dtex:
We have the following specialties in our program:
- flame retardant
- amorphous
- spundyed
- low pilling
- uv-stable
- regenerated with GRS
- FDA
- low shrinkage
- hollow
- trilobal
as well as combinations such as flame retardant in colors and uv-stable for outdoor .....

Virgin polyester fibers
In white virgin polyester fibers the range goes from 0,9dtex up to 28 dtex in different cutlength, spundyed black and colors are produced from 1,7dtex to 28dtex. In regenerated fibers the production goes from 3,3dtex to 28dtex in white, black and bottlegreen. In virgin spundyed colors Märkische is famous for an excellent quality and they are the market-leader in Europe. The colored fibers are mainly used in automotive in visible parts like ceilings, hatracks, carpets and seats. Since a short time Märkische Faser has also a flame retardant polyester fiber in their program which has already found a very good feedback on the market. The chemical additive is bounded in the polymer and due to that the fiber has very good permanent flame retardant properties. The international fire protection classifications M1 and B1 will be fulfilled ( dependent on the structure of the fabric). Other specialties are amorphous and antibacterial polyester fibers, fibers with a very low or high shrinkage, high tenacity fibers and fibers which can be adapted on the customer’s demand or which can be developed together with customers on secrecy basis. Currently there is a development for a UV-stabile polyester fiber for outdoor-applications.
