Since the early days of our company we have developed and supplied special solutions for
the special units of police and military forces. We have supplied woven and knitted fabrics
from NOMEX® or CONEX® for garments, balaclavas, poloshirts and complete jump suits
but also for pilot overalls and life-vests. With our KEVLAR® or TWARON® program we cover
the widest range of special glove materials and also supply cut and abrasion resistant
knee- and elbow-covers in North- and East-Europe. Well trained special forces must be
protected with state of the art technology and fabrics which show high performance when
multiple protection is crucial. With our special mix of fabrics and coatings we focus the needs of longtime action under worst conditions.

The variety of personal risks for firefighters grow with the wide range of emergency jobs they will be called for. Real firefighting against a flashover in buildings, technical support at a highway accident, flood-tide catastrophes or recovery of dangerous loads must be considered during the planning stage of a multifunctional protective garment for firefighters. Our woven and knitted fabrics from NOMEX®, TWARON®, KEVLAR® and PBI® brand fibers have been developed especially for their garments, gloves and boots to guarantee highest level of protection and comfort.

With the transfer of manual process technology to robots a new business has been created. Protective garments for machinery. Bellows and shoot protections are also made from thermal and mechanical highly resistant fibers to protect body and tools of the machinery from sparks, fragments or just from flames and high radiant heat. KEVLAR® and PANOX® are in the first choice when a high level of protection is crucial.
The manufacturer of a bellow can choose more than 15 styles from our fabric range to find the optimum solution for protection against flames, sparks, welding spatter, high radiant heat and up to resistance against high radiant heat or mechanical cut. Various coatings from polyurethane, silicone-carbon and ceramic pastes are available to optimise the fabric properties for the final application.

We supply specialised fabrics for a wide range of personal protective equipments. Wovens, knits and terry loops for cut resistant gloves in sheet metal and glass industry, for flame retardant overalls on drilling-derricks and refinery as well as radiant heat reflecting fabrics for applications near blast furnace and foundry use. The garments must also withstand welding spatter and molten splash. These requirements meet our main competence to protect against heat, flames, cut and abrasion. Industrial jobs have a wide variety and therefore we also offer taylormade solutions for utmost safety and comfort.

In the first moment protection against heat and flames seem to have nothing in common with sports activities. But flame retardant jump suits from NOMEX® for formula one race car drivers or power boat pilots are absolutely necessary to obtain a permit to take part in the race. But also hot air ballooners must be protected against flames and speleologist’s diving suit should be permanently cut and abrasion resistant as well. If a motor-biker touches the road in case of accident frictional heat must be controlled as well as high tear strength and abrasion resistance are crucial. For those applications we offer focused solutions from our KEVLAR® or TWARON® range with taylormade coatings from siliciumcarbide or containing ceramic or glass.
