Über uns
We are a European company producing mass dyed polypropylene multifilament yarns PROLEN® since 1974. PROLEN® is a 100% recyclable mass-dyed functional yarn with great thermoinsulation properties, the quickest moisture management for the production of which we do not use a drop of water. We produce flat, friction, spindle and air textured yarns. To our specialities belong microyarns, hollow yarns and antimicrobially modified (silvr, zinc) yarns. We have developed around 4000 colour shades. We produce also biobased yarns, antiabrasion yarns (PVDF), yarns with a special remmission curve in the IR spectrum. We also produce classical and functional socks and have our own brands of functional wear made out of PROLEN®.
PROLEN® Recycle is our new development. It is a recycled polypropylene multifilament yarn made from pre-consumer and postconsumer polypropylene waste. Prolen® Recycle production closes the recycling loop and is one of the parts of the circular economy where sustainability is most important.
PROLEN®Medical are medical textiles made from PROLEN®Siltex and PROLEN®Bodyfresh polypropylene multifilament yarn with permanent antimicrobial and antiviral treatment modified by silver and zinc, intended for the work and management of the infectious environment in medical facilities in order to prevent from nosocomial and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Approved reduction of SARS-CoV-2, H1N1, various types of bacteria and fungi.
