Cetex is the research institute in Germany for new technologies, automation solutions and machines for the production of technical textiles, textile-based semi-finished products, functional components and high-performance structures.

We develop resource-saving, sustainable processes and machines for multifunctional lightweight construction for our customers - from the idea to the concept to the prototype or customised machine. Depending on the wishes of our partners, the cooperation takes place within the framework of subsidised application-oriented or preliminary research or as contract development. Another area is innovative solutions for the recycling of thermoplastic composites.

As an affiliated institute, we work in close cooperation with Chemnitz University of Technology on the development of cost-efficient, customised process and component solutions based on fibre-plastic composites in large-scale production for the automotive, shipping and aviation industries, among others.
